Dr. Naoto Tanaka

Research Associate-PhD

Naoto received his Bachelor’s degree and Ph.D. in Biology from Temple University in 2007 and 2014.  His dissertation was to investigate polymophisms in cone CNG channels associated daylight and colorblindness. Afterwards, he was a postdoctoral fellow in the same department studying the combined effects of aging and immune challenge on hippocampus-dependent long-term memory. He joined the Rivella lab in January, 2019 and is part of the gene therapy team led by Dr. Laura Breda.
